So apparently Lindsay Lohan filmed a documentary about human trafficking in India. I seriously thought this was a joke when I first heard about it, but apparently it actually happened. As proof of this, here's a lovely little snippet from the film. In this one minute video, we're treated to some of the most vapid and obvious observations on the state of human trafficking I have ever heard. Lind
You can thank the Superficial for the 200 brain cells you just lost watching that video.

Improv comedy show tonight at the Brody Theater!
by Wendy Shortman
The Corporate Headquarters Improv group performs every second Thursday of every month. This month, they will be introducing a new blend of improv comedy that will be even more predictable then before. Check out the Facebook event page here.
Here's a video of a previous performance. The clip is of a game where three bakers are in the process of baking while interpreting a fast-paced play list of popular songs. There's a bit of a slow start, but it does pick up around the 2:40 mark though when Outkast's "Hey Ya!" comes on. Now that's some funky bread:

Ok seriously...just stop.
I don't even know what to say to this. Garageband and some shiny leggings from American Apparel does not make you artistic or musical. Nor does alliteration and deadpan rapping. It makes me hurt in ways I have never hurt before:
Thank you to Look at this Fucking Hipster... I think.

Dj Robo-Smurf
I was in the middle of trying to write a review of a recent show I covered and looking for info on local dj E*Rock. Along the road, I came across this gem of an interview. I especially love the part about building a two story robotic smurf to tour the country in. E*Rock, you are now not only my favorite dj, you are also my new personal hero:

Trent Reznor talks id software, innovation, old school games
I was watching this Digg Dialog interview with Trent Reznor earlier, and thought it would be cool if someone mentioned his work doing the sound effects and music for Quake. Much to my surprise, it was mentioned--and thus we get Trent offering his own intelligent observations on the game industry. It's around the 23-25 minute mark, but you should really watch the whole thing, since Mr. Reznor has a lot of great insight to share. Enjoy!

Oh man, who else is jonesin' for another CAT COMPILATION?
At least this one starts off with bonsai-kitten antics.

Drop it in the sauce bottle up the sauce
Mike Doughty just debuted his music video for "Put it Down" off his latest album Golden Delicious over at IFC. I like the low-fi aspects and the part where he tries jamming with the sirens. It's nice to see some personality in a music video these days.
